The morning after we got back to Rabat after Marrakech, I packed up and walked out of the medina before the sun rose to get a cab to the airport.
When asking the hostel owner where to go in Marrakech for a day, he immediately recommended the Jardins de Majorelle. Once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, the gardens are a green and sanctuary within the bustling city. Just a short bus ride away from the main square, the gardens are definitely worth visiting if you want a dose of nature. After a morning of walking and shopping, we walked up to one of the rooftop cafes for lunch. |
